This is an album from the heart in singer-songwriter folk-pop style. 
In their own way, songs on this album tell their own individual story of facing loss. They each capture and reflect a range of emotions humans experience when handling watershed moments - from frustration and regret to positivity and acceptance.  The overall message of "Good Place" is that facing loss is unavoidable and we do it differently and beautifully each time. 
No matter what the change or ending might bring, there can always be light and goodness to be gained if we have the ability to look.
